We understand that activities are the highlight of our residents' day. We have a full time activities program, which includes activities in the evenings and on weekends. We offer a wide variety of activities, including exercise and stretching, arts and crafts, bingo, lunch outings to fine restaurants, resident council and coffee hours. There's something for everyone! We have several large spaces where musical entertainment (including bands and dancers), and lectures take place. We go on sightseeing tours and to cultural activities in nearby downtown Portland, thanks to our van. A fully functioning kitchen comes in handy for group cooking activities, while the sunny activities room is perfect for arts and crafts. The memory impairment unit also has special activities, designed to promote functionality in our residents and to engage them in meaningful activities. Family members are always welcome to attend any activities, and calendars are readily available to both residents and their loved ones.
